Some of our roles are on a data center floor or at a repair bench in Iowa, and some are at a desk. Here is what each team does day to day.

Data Center Operations

Keep thousands of miners online.

Site technicians work on the floor of our Iowa data centers. They track and close work tickets, handle maintenance and basic repairs, set up IPs and bring new machines online, and monitor miners in Foreman and BTC Tools.

Repair

Repair miners down to the component.

Our repair center in Cedar Falls diagnoses and repairs hashboards, control boards and power supplies, with component-level work done in house at the bench.

Sales and Business Development

Sell to two markets at once.

Our sales team works with Bitcoin investors who want miners hosted, and with AI and cloud companies that need power-ready data center capacity. Business development reps open conversations and book meetings. Account executives qualify deals, shape proposals and keep each account current in HubSpot.

Finance

Fund the next site.

Finance runs the close, the controls and the capital plan behind each new data center. The team is rolling out NetSuite, scheduled to go live in January 2027.

Are your jobs remote?

It depends on the role. Data center technicians work on site at our Iowa data centers and need to live in Iowa. Our current sales openings are remote within the US, with travel. Each posting states its own arrangement.

Where is Simple Mining based?

Our headquarters and repair center are in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Our data centers are across Iowa.

How does the Bitcoin bonus work?

Full-time employees in our sales and finance roles earn a bonus of 1% of their annual gross pay, paid in Bitcoin each year. Each posting lists the benefits for its role.
